<How to use this>
Create a textfile (for example with 'ed' from the workbench) which should
look like this :
String1
String2
String3
The Scrolltext
String1-3 will be displayed at the top of the screen. The scrolltext can
contain linefeeds, so if you are at the end of the line with 'ed' then
just press return. The scrolltext must end with a '@'. Look at the 'text'
file on this disk to see how it works.
When you load the 'install' program, you are first asked for a 'textfile',
this is the file that contains the texts (see above) after that you are
asked for a block on which the intro will be saved, this must be a valid
block number (0-1759). How to find free space on a nodos disk: Use a tool
like diskx or something and find a place on the disk that is free. Most of
the times the last several tracks are free. (look for sectors filled with
'DOS', 00 or 'XCOPY').
This little proggy has a bootblock simulator, so it can be used to install
the intro on 'nodos' disks. The intro takes up 5 blocks and the length of
the scrolltext in blocks (length/512 round up) this is most of the times
<10 blocks or you must be a long scrolltext writer (a scrolltext of 2048
chars would give a total length of 5+2048/512=9 blocks). Have fun with it.
